"In the box", big dogs refers to Clifford (first and foremost) aka. Lucious Loui Lablanc, Big Buck (a deer-dog?), Slim, Brother Truth, and the other dogs who fight over being the biggest and baddest, though I honestly believe the big red dog takes the cake.
The Big Dog is going. Pay particular attention to the definite article. Clifford is nothing more than a creation designed for the entertainment of little children. How can that demand any respect?
I am finishing it, but I will be back either this coming year or years following to take a few courses that were not offered my first year, and to re-study Hebrew in the class setting.
I am an unapologetic Landmark Missionary Baptist preacher, a Christian, Constitutional conservative, and currently a fourth-year student at Louisiana Missionary Baptist Institute and Seminary (LMBIS).
I plan to be there, God willing. How many big dogs will be there?
ReplyDeleteI am praying that the LORD will give you a safe and fulfilling journey! May His Spirit rest upon you during this time!
ReplyDeleteIt will be my first, but I'm still human. No dogs my way.

ReplyDeleteAre you suggesting we don't respect him and that he is the big dog? Or are you suggesting you are the big dog and he is not worthy of respect?
ReplyDeleteOn a more joyous note: School's out for the summer!
I thought you were finishing your fifth year, James Charles?
ReplyDeleteThe Big Dog, I hope your hair grows back soon or we will all need sunglasses if you stand under a light.

ReplyDeleteConcerning attending the ABA messenger meeting in Springfield, MO, in a previous comment I said,
ReplyDelete"The good LORD willing, my wife and I plan to be there. Hope to see, at least, some of you all."
I now regret to say that I will not be able to make it after all.
